Evernaught

Thinking about this audio book I am publishing on Associated Content.

The Peggar: An Inroduction.

This piece of prose begins the story of the Peggar, an artifact from the future/past of humanity and Old Earth. The Peggar is shaped much like a mechanical fortune teller from the late 19th century and it sits upon an ivory chair ornately worked with millions of tiny engravings which have never been decoded into meaning anything thus far.

The Peggar is a fusion of many technologies both known and unknown. Within the Peggar’s “memory” is all information and the systems of encoding and decoding that information into any form or language. The Peggar does not essentially make either sense nor nonsense with it’s long winded ramblings.

The Peggar is already very ancient in this introduction. The origins of the Peggar are dated to 21st Century Old Earth. It was named the Peggar after a space pirate in the 23rd Century accidentally lobbed the Peggar’s leg off just below the knee and afterwards a nano-tech surgeon affixed the Peggar a pegged leg to help keep it sitting upright in it’s chair.
